Sustainable Sourcing
Hatch Stamping Company encourages suppliers to work towards achieving compliance to the latest ISO14001 Environmental Management System standard. The supplier shall provide Hatch Stamping Company with a copy of their certificate and/or re-certification certificates, as applicable.
All chemicals brought onto Hatch Stamping Company property require Safety Data Sheets (SDS). The SDS must be provided to the Environmental Management Representative (EMR) for review prior to bringing the chemical on-site.
All materials and services purchased by Hatch Stamping Company and used in the manufacture of products shall comply with current legal, governmental and safety constraints on restricted, toxic, and hazardous materials. Hazardous materials must comply with OSHA standards and be properly labeled.
Social Responsibility

The Company’s safety policy is an integral part of our corporate mission, and our objective is to provide each person we employ with the education and knowledge necessary to safely perform his or her duties. To achieve this goal, Hatch Stamping Company unconditionally places the issues of safety and health above all others. Management and employees are equally involved in training and education, which is supported by regular reporting and review of our progress.
Hatch Stamping Company is a contributing partner in the communities in which we are located. We work with local colleges and high schools, participating in regional, statewide and national initiatives such as robotics, job fairs, training programs, internships and expanded apprenticeship programs. We also open our plants to industry leaders, as well as high school and university students. Additionally, Hatch Stamping Company supports numerous charities that cover a wide range of services and support, as well as government entities such as local Chambers. Hatch Stamping Company employees have proven repeatedly they are very generous and committed to the various programs in the communities in which they live and work.
In addition to its various activities, Hatch Stamping Company is actively involved with both state and local governments and participates in several key organizations in the manufacturing industry. Notably, Hatch Stamping Company is engaged with the Michigan Manufacturing Association Service Corporation (a division of the Michigan Manufacturing Association, MMA), which is dedicated to providing valuable services and support to manufacturers across Michigan. The MMA advocates for the manufacturing sector by offering resources, training, and networking opportunities, helping manufacturers stay competitive and advance industry standards.
Hatch Stamping Company is also participating in the Livingston County area Housing Catalyst Program, focusing on improving housing development and affordability in the region. Moreover, the company participates in other industry-related organizations, including the Precision Metalforming Association (PMA) and various educational foundations. These associations aim to enhance educational opportunities and support initiatives within the metal forming industry, fostering growth and innovation in the sector.

Hatch Stamping Company maintains policies regarding discrimination and harassment, respects fundamental rights relating to working conditions, and is committed to a working environment that is free from human trafficking, forced labor, and unlawful child labor. Performance Metrics and Goals
Hatch Stamping Company utilizes standard statistical techniques (trend charts) to monitor and measure key characteristics of its operations that can have a significant environmental impact. Specific metrics are created to monitor and measure environmental targets and programs, as appropriate. Analysis and actions taken as a result of this monitoring and measurement are detailed in EMC Team Meeting minutes and Management Review Meeting minutes.
Each applicable area and department is responsible to ensure that specific equipment requiring calibration is periodically calibrated, taking into account manufacturers recommendations. These areas/departments are responsible for maintaining records affiliated with calibration/maintenance activities in Plex.
