Michigan Manufacturers Association Field Day

Thank You to the MMA Team for an Incredible Field Day!

The Michigan Manufacturers Association (MMA) organized an exceptional field day for their board members, showcasing the diversity and innovation within Michigan’s manufacturing sector.

Board members and staff had the privilege to visit the Stellantis Detroit Assembly Complex—Jefferson, where the Jeep Grand Cherokee, Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe, and Dodge Durango are manufactured. Following this, the group toured the newly renovated Michigan Central Station. This 30-acre campus, revitalized by Ford Motor Company, serves as a hub for urban transportation innovation, fostering a sustainable and equitable future.

The tour also included the Book Depository building, adjacent to the train station, which is home to Newlab—a partner of Michigan Central. This facility is a dynamic space where entrepreneurs and inventors from various companies collaborate on next-generation mobility solutions, focusing on areas like electrification and aerial technology. The building features purpose-built workspaces and prototyping labs to accelerate applied R&D and foster collaboration.

Hatch Stamping Company is proud to be a member of MMA and to support their efforts by serving on the Service Corp Board. We deeply appreciate MMA’s dedication to advancing Michigan’s manufacturing industry.
